Deborah Levine is a lawyer with over 25 years experience. While working at the Neighborhood Legal Services Program, she advised low-income D.C. residents on housing, family law, consumer and disability issues. She has volunteered with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program Bankruptcy Clinic and the D.C. Superior Court Family Self-Help Center, and has taught financial literacy at the Calvary Women’s Services. She serves on the Board of Avodah, an organization committed to developing life long social justice leader. Prior to joining NLSP, Deborah worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission as a senior counsel in the Office of General Counsel and in the Division of Enforcement, and as a litigation associate at WilmerHale.
