Deborah Levine is a lawyer with over 25 years of experience. While working at the Neighborhood Legal Services Program, she advised low-income DC residents on housing, family law, consumer, and disability issues. She has volunteered with the DC Bar Pro Bono Program Bankruptcy Clinic and the DC Superior Court Family Self-Help Center, and has taught financial literacy at Calvary Women’s Services. She serves on the Board of Avodah, an organization committed to developing lifelong social justice leaders. Prior to joining NLSP, Deborah worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission as a senior counsel in the Office of General Counsel and in the Division of Enforcement, and as a litigation associate at WilmerHale.
