One of my best things this year and in my life 

My experience during Global Zambia was more than just participating in a programme; it was an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow in ways I did not expect. Being part of the experience allowed me to interact with people from different backgrounds, share ideas, learn from others, and gain a better understanding of the importance of working together as young people. 

One of the biggest benefits I personally gained was confidence. The experience encouraged me to speak up, share my ideas, and communicate with people I had never met before. It helped me realize that my ideas and experiences have value, and that I can contribute positively to my community. I also developed better teamwork and communication skills because many of the activities required us to cooperate, listen to one another, and support each other.

Another Important Lesson

Another important lesson I gained was the value of unity and cultural exchange. Meeting people from different places showed me that although we may have different experiences and perspectives, we can still find common ground and work toward shared goals. The friendships and connections I made with my friends as well as the experience was even more meaningful and helped me see the world from a broader perspective. 

I believe the Global Zambia experience should continue because it creates opportunities for young people to learn beyond the classroom. It exposes them to new ideas, builds leadership and social skills, encourages cultural understanding, and gives them a platform to become more involved in their communities. Experiences like these can inspire young people to think bigger about their education, careers, leadership, service, and future. 

Looking back, Global Zambia has contributed to my personal growth and changed the way I see myself and the people around me. I am grateful for the lessons, connections, and memories I gained from the experience. I believe continuing the programme would allow many more young people to experience the same kind of growth and discover their own potential.
